How we helped Plastic Bank in their mission to stop ocean plastic
To help Plastic Bank on their mission to stop ocean plastic, we developed an advertising strategy on Google and Facebook with the goal of collecting donations from supporters, promote the Plastic Bank newsletter and generate sales on Plastic Bank store.
In addition, in December 2017 we launched a new campaign on social media promoting David Katz (Plastic Bank co-founder) Ted Talk.
Lastly, we helped the Plastic Bank team apply to Google for Nonprofits, a special Google program providing non-governmental organizations with tools and resources to expand their online visibility and impact.
The strategy developed for Plastic Bank helped them expand their mailing list, strengthen their social media presence and collect donations for their cause.
The Ted Talk was also a huge success: 200K people watched the video on the day it was released and, to date, it has been watched by 2 million people.
